KRISTEEN & BRIAN = BABY LOVE

Aaaahhhh.. the joys of pregnancy.  Although there are some questionable moments in pregnancy.. such as nauseousness, sensitivity to smell, weight gain, stretch marks... ha ha... have I scared anyone yet!?!  ha ha   Seriously... pregnancy is a blessing!  Look past all of the "minor" side effects... and what you see is this awesome miracle from God.  The first time a baby is placed in your arms is indescribable.  The emotions are too intense to even describe.  But what I can say is...  it is LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!  No one can explain the instant bond and love that happens between a parent and child during that very first sweet touch.  The only one who could fully comprehend that kind of love is our creator... God.

I must admit ... Kristeen and Brian demonstrated just how much they were in love with their precious baby girl ... Bella.  There was no hesitancy, no fear... just pure excitement.  Unfortunately, the only thing weighing on their mind was the fact that Brian would be sent over to Iraq to join the others in protecting God's country.  He will be missing Bella's birth, as well as most of her first year.  It is most definitely going to be a challenging season for them.

It was difficult to decide which pictures to share with you for this sweet event.  So here is what I came up with... there will be extra pics attached to this blog post.  As you look through and enjoy them.. allow their names and faces to sink in.  My request is that you remember them as you pray, and also remember to pray for the many others who are, or will be, sent to Iraq to continue to fight for the freedom of our great nation.

Enjoy their sweet moment.... may it make you smile as much as it made me smile...  :o)

Amy and Jeremy

For those of you who have experienced true love.... I have a question for you.  What comes to your mind when you think back to the first day you met "your love"?   Isn't it awesome when you think about your first look into their eyes...  the first brush of your hand against theirs... the first kiss...  truly.. I thank God for allowing us to have the ability to love in that capacity.  To the point of finding yourself smiling just at the mere thought of them.

What brought on such "loving" thoughts?  Amy and Jeremy.  I had the privilege of not only taking their wedding photos.. but to be a part of their very special day.  Honestly, every time I am at a wedding it makes me think of the day Bill and I were married.  One day... I may post about that.  But for right now... this is about Amy and Jeremy.

Trying to get their picture was quite a challenge.. considering they had to keep kissing and staring at each other.  Ask me how many pictures I have of them actually looking into the camera!?  ha ha ha...  Now, ask me if I mind?  Not at all... the fact that they were so happy in love to the point of not caring about the world around them made me smile from ear to ear.  May they continue to experience this "oblivious to the world love" forever.

Here are some of my favorite shots of their special day.

The beginning of many blogs...

Yeah!!  My very first blog to share with everyone!   You have no idea how excited I am to be posting my very first blog.  On a scale of 1-10.. my excitement level is at about 20 and that is without the Starbucks espresso!!  ha ha

Before we go any further, I need to give a special thanks to my dear friend Amy Starks.  Girl, you have gone above and beyond to help me with this whole process.  Words cannot describe how extremely thankful I am to not only have you in my life, but to know you are on the sidelines cheering me on.  My prayer is that God will give me an opportunity to pay it forward. Thank you SO much for the priceless time you dedicated to this new journey.  I love you dearly.

Seriously, all of the time and energy spent putting my blog and website together has been well worth it.  Especially knowing that all of you will be joining me on this fabulous adventure.  I cannot wait to post future blogs and to see where God continues to lead me.

Till then... I thought I would share a few sneak peeks at some of the recent photo sessions I have done.....
